Agora Shopping Center Antalya | Shops + Location

One day while I was in Antalya, I was walking around the eastern part of the city when suddenly, the large sign of Agora Shopping Mall caught my attention.
At first glance, it looked like a luxurious three-story building, but I later realized it also had a basement level, making it a total of four floors.
After passing through the entrance, I found myself in a large courtyard with a beautiful fountain at its center. The mall’s buildings surrounded this fountain, and on the upper floors, I noticed numerous restaurants and cafes.
The atmosphere of this shopping center made me even more inclined to do my shopping there if I had any plans to buy anything. That’s why I decided to explore the stores based on variety, prices, amenities, and other entertainment sections. In addition to my personal experience, this article also covers the geographical location, facilities, and transportation routes to Agora Antalya Shopping Center, which you can read about further below.

My Shopping Experience at the Stores

The first thing that caught my eye in this mall was the “Tax Free” sign in the first corridor. According to the information, to benefit from tax exemption, purchases needed to exceed 1,500 TL.
I went to Sabella Silver store and bought a Swan Necklace for $116. But I couldn’t believe it when the salesperson told me their products weren’t eligible for tax-free invoices!
In my opinion, the “Tax Free” sign shouldn’t have been displayed in the mall’s corridor since not all stores participated in this scheme. Therefore, I strongly recommend asking the seller about tax exemption before making any purchases to avoid misunderstandings.

I also stopped by the Toys Shop, and thanks to the well-organized store layout, I quickly found my way to the toy car section for 3-5 year olds. The salesperson there, considering my budget, recommended the SVT Raptor model priced at 919.99 TL.
The car the clerk was holding was red as their suggested option, but I asked them to prepare a green one for me instead. I got the sense they weren’t too enthusiastic about going to the storage room, but ultimately my purchase was completed successfully. One thing I noticed was that the staff in this store had significant difficulty understanding English, which could be somewhat frustrating for tourists.

Restaurants at Agora Shopping Mall

There were a total of 20 cafes and restaurants in Agora Shopping Mall, mostly serving Turkish and local cuisine, but international food options were also available. I decided to visit one of the mall’s cafés while providing you with the list below.
| Köfteci Ramiz | Delicious Turkish köfte (meatballs) and local dishes | 2nd Floor |
| KAHVE DUNYASI | A popular Turkish café chain offering traditional breakfasts, Turkish tea, and fresh, delicious breads | Ground Floor |
| BurgerKing | Turkish and international fast food, family and group-friendly | 2nd Floor |
| Starbucks | Perfect for coffee lovers | Ground Floor |
|
Kronotrop |
A café serving natural ice cream, Turkish desserts like baklava, and hot drinks | Ground Floor |
To take a break, I went to Kronotrop for a cup of tea and a slice of apple pie. But I was shocked when I saw the prices on the menu – a simple black tea cost 78 lira!
However, the tea had a pleasant and delightful taste, and the apple pie was fresh, aromatic, and exactly as flavorful as I expected. The only drawbacks of this café were its high prices and the fact they started cleaning at 2:30 PM without considering it might inconvenience customers. That said, the food quality was impeccable and deserves full marks.

Final Thoughts

Agora Shopping Mall certainly doesn’t lack variety when it comes to shops and brands. While I can’t call it budget-friendly (as some items were quite expensive), you can still find reasonably priced goods at local stores.
The children’s entertainment facilities were adequate, and there’s a good selection of diverse restaurants. Staff behavior was generally appropriate, though I occasionally encountered some less-than-friendly individuals. Agora tends to be crowded, with many visitors coming just to pass time rather than shop – you’ll see plenty of people simply strolling around.
If you’re interested in shopping in Antalya, I recommend familiarizing yourself with other malls in the city as well. For reference, check out these shopping centers:
• Antalya Nova Mall
