This beach is in Sile and the northeast of Istanbul. To get to this beach, I first went to Uskudar station using line 5 of the subway, got off the subway there, and went out of the subway station; after two minutes of walking, I saw white buses on the side of the street, going to Sile. I boarded the white bus, paid 80 lire with my Istanbulkard, and reached Sile in 80 minutes. After I arrived in Sile, I took a taxi and went to Baia Beach.
Entrance fees and opening hours of Baia Beach
I paid 500 lira to enter this beach in the middle of the week. After talking with the lifeguards, I found out that the entrance fee to this beach at the end of the week is 750 lira, and children under six years old do not need to pay an entrance fee and can enter the beach for free.
The exciting thing about this beach is that it also has a VIP bed section, for which you have to pay 750 lira in the middle of the week and 1000 lira at the weekend.
If you want to swim in the sea, you have to go to this beach from 10 am to 8 pm, but if you want to have dinner at this beach restaurant, you can visit there until midnight.

On some days, different DJs are invited to this beach and show their best performances, which, if you are lucky, you can see them during your visit.
This beach restaurant has a relatively high price. I paid 450 lira for pasta and 250 lira for beer, which was a bit more expensive than other beaches in Istanbul. On some nights and at dinner time, music is played on this beach, and you can dance and eat dinner with your partner.
One of the most attractive parts of this beach is the tables and chairs arranged next to each other on the beach, which you can sit on while having dinner in the restaurant, put your feet on the soft sand, and have the best meal with your partner.
There are also changing rooms and toilets on this beach, which are relatively clean. There are also several showers on this beach, but I have to tell you that they don’t have hot water and you have to shower with cold water on this beach.
My experience visiting this beach
The beach has golden and soft sand, and the sea always has waves, but it is not very deep, so children can easily swim in it. There were algae in some parts of the sea, which was one of the disadvantages of this beach.
The part of the beach where the sunbeds were placed was clean, but some parts of the beach that were far from the sunbeds were dirty, and there were many cigarette residues.
Since I went to this beach in the middle of the week, it was not very crowded. Still, while talking to the lifeguards, I realized that at the end of the week, many people come to this beach to swim in the sea and have dinner at the restaurant, so if you don’t like crowds, I recommend you visit this beach in the middle of the week.
There is also a windmill near the beach, which makes the view of the beach more beautiful. You can go next to this windmill and take a picture next to it so that you can look at that picture in the future and remember your presence on this beach.
All Things Considered
Rocks surround this beach, so it gets dark quickly after sunset. This beach is a cozy and quiet in the middle of the week. But since it is not very big, it gets crowded at the end of the week, and this crowd may bother you.
