Before traveling to Antalya, I had come across pictures of the MarkAntalya Shopping Mall several times on various forums and conducted a brief study about its luxurious reputation. Now that I have traveled to Antalya, I was eager to visit the shops in this mall up close and gather more information about its products, facilities, recreational options, and pricing.

In this article, I will share information about the prices, variety of goods, facilities, and entertainment available at this shopping center, along with all my personal experiences.

Introduction to MarkAntalya Shopping Mall

MarkAntalya Shopping Mall is one of Antalya’s luxurious malls, comprising five main floors of shops and six levels of parking. This complex was inaugurated in 2013, covering an area of over 55,000 square meters, and has been attracting approximately 10,000 visitors daily since then.

The mall houses 155 international and Turkish brands, offering a wide range of products in fashion, technology, and entertainment. From small boutiques to outlets of renowned brands such as Boyner, DeFacto, Flo, H&M, Koton, and LC Waikiki, all are present in this mall.

The mall’s food court is located on the upper floor and serves Turkish and international cuisines, including McDonald’s, Burger King, and Sbarro, all of which offer decent quality. One of the highlights of this mall is its lush terrace, where I enjoyed Turkish dishes and coffee. I highly recommend spending some time there to relax and unwind.

A modern playground has been designed for children, allowing parents to shop with greater peace of mind. Additionally, the cinema halls on the upper floor show movies in English, especially during the evening hours. If you’re in Turkey and looking to watch your favorite movie, I highly recommend visiting this shopping mall.

My Shopping Experience at MarkAntalya Shopping Mall

I have a strong interest in tennis, though I had stopped playing it for a while. Since my hotel had a tennis court, I decided to purchase a new pair of tennis shoes. Visiting such a luxurious shopping mall was a great opportunity to check out BOYNER ACTIVE on the first floor.

Typically, tennis shoes are expensive, but I managed to buy a pair in yellow and blue for 2,449 TL, with a 34% discount. I was completely satisfied with the quality and price of the shoes, but the behavior of the store staff did not meet my expectations.

Although there were plenty of staff members and the store was relatively quiet, none of them seemed willing or interested in assisting me. I had to wait for over five minutes before someone finally came over to answer my questions.

Separately, I had been looking for my sister’s favorite perfume, SUNY B2 100ML Women’s Perfume in purple packaging, for a while. After checking several cosmetics stores, I eventually found it at DAVID WALKE on the second floor.

I paid $15.77 for the perfume, with no discount offered. Nevertheless, the price was genuinely fair and even cheaper than what I had seen in stores within the city, so I was happy with my purchase.

Unfortunately, the behavior of the staff at this store was also disappointing. When I asked about the availability of the perfume, the cashier, without even looking at me, continued browsing the internet and didn’t respond. I had to repeat my question three times before finally getting an answer. From my perspective, one of the major weaknesses of this store is the lack of proper responsiveness from the sales staff.

Restaurants at MarkAntalya Shopping Mall

MarkAntalya is home to 30 active restaurants and dining options, offering both main dishes and fast food. Many large eateries also feature café sections with a variety of beverages. Below are six of the best dining options in the mall:

Most of the dining options in MarkAntalya Shopping Mall are located on the third floor. Since I hadn’t had Turkish food in a while, I decided to try the Turkish restaurant SATISFIED. Feeling quite hungry, I ordered the Eti Bol Et Tantuni Dürüm. According to the menu, this dish consists of a special Turkish bread, plenty of meat, onions, spicy peppers, tomatoes, and parsley. I paid 260 TL for it.

Unfortunately, the meat had a burnt taste, and the vegetables were not fresh. I chose this restaurant without any prior research, and I wish I had taken the time to investigate. Additionally, it took 40 minutes for the food to be served, and considering the poor quality, the price was far too high.

After speaking with some Antalya locals who frequent this mall, I learned that Burger King and Sbarro are considered excellent dining options. If I visit MarkAntalya again, I’ll definitely try these two.

To reset my palate, I went to the café KAHVE DUNYASI. The space was very clean and cozy, with a brown-themed décor accented by warm yellow lighting. The leather chairs and friendly ambiance created a pleasant experience. I ordered my favorite drink, Cacaonly Kakao Suyu, for 125 TL. This drink was completely natural, with no sugar or additives, and had the pure flavor of cocoa fruit. It helped me forget the unpleasant experience from my previous meal.

Accessibility and Opening Hours

You can visit MarkAntalya Shopping Mall daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM on Muratpaşa Boulevard. The mall becomes extremely crowded during shopping festivals such as Eid al-Adha and Black Friday.

The best way to reach the mall is by taxi. However, if you’re in the city center, a 10-minute walk will bring you to MarkAntalya. Alternatively, you can use the following buses to get there and alight at the MarkAntalya station:

Conclusion

In my opinion, MarkAntalya Shopping Mall has no shortcomings in terms of cleanliness, facilities, and elegant architecture. Renowned brands and authentic items are easily accessible. However, the prices are relatively high, making it a costly option for those intending to buy souvenirs for many people. While the variety of products is impressive, unfortunately, the attitude of staff in some stores seemed indifferent and unhelpful.

Regarding the restaurants, there were plenty of options, but you need to be more selective to find a good-quality place to eat.
