Where is Nakibey Beach?

At the very beginning, I should mention that this beach is located in one of Istanbul prince islands, Büyükada, and to go there, you need to use ferries that depart from various Istanbul piers to this island.

To get to this island, I went to Eminonu Pier and boarded ferries. I reached Büyükada Island in 80 minutes, where I boarded a boat that took me to Nakibey Family Beach for free.

You should know that some beaches in Istanbul have special rules, and Nakibey Beach Istanbul is one of these beaches that has its own rules. Since this beach is a family beach, single men are not allowed to enter the beach. Since I went to this beach alone, I met a lady named Sarah on the island and asked her to come with me to the beach to let me enter the beach.

We went to the beach with Sara, and since it was the weekend, we paid 700 lira per person to enter. You should know that the cost of entering this beach in the middle of the week is 500 lira in 2024.

My experience visiting this beach

As you can see in the pictures, this beach has a small sandy area, and you have to lie on the platform there to sunbathe. Of course, you should know that there are umbrellas and sun chairs on this beach that you can use for free and enjoy sunbathing.

After relaxing on the sunbed and drinking a glass of Beer, I entered the sea to swim. As soon as I entered the sea, I doubted the cleanliness of the seawater because I had never seen such a clean beach in Istanbul.

Swimming in the sea was really enjoyable because there was no algae, and since it was not too deep, I introduced this beach as one of the cleanest beaches in Istanbul.

When I was swimming there, the sea was very calm, so children could easily swim. Of course, I should also mention that skilled lifeguards were present on the beach, and they were attentive to the people who were swimming in the sea, which made it possible for families to swim safely.

Is there a restaurant on this beach?

Unlike some Istanbul beaches, such as Burc Beach Istanbul, which do not allow you to take food to the beach, in Nakibey Beach, you are allowed to take food to the beach.

I should mention that there is a restaurant on this beach, but the variety of food is small and of course a bit expensive. You can buy a glass of beer on this beach and enjoy drinking it while eating.
