This beach is one of the private beaches of Istanbul and is located in one of the Prince Islands of Istanbul, Kınalıada.

To go to this beach, first, I went to the Kabataş pier in Istanbul with one of my friends, Sara, and got on the ferry. I paid about 1 dollar and reached the island in one hour. After arriving at Kınalıada Pier, we boarded the boats that take people from the pier to Noya Beach every day at certain times.

Below, you can see the working hours of these boats:

  • Departure times from Kınalıada pier to Noya beach: 10:00-11:10-12:55
  • Departure times from Noya Beach to Kınalıada pier: 18:00-18:50-22:30-00:30-17:10

My experience visiting this beach

Noya plaji has no sandy beach and is full of beautiful white stones, so I suggest you use wading sandals when walking on the beach to avoid hurting your feet.

One of the attractions of this beach is the yoga classes held there. I attended a yoga class for an hour on the day I was there and enjoyed doing yoga poses in the sun with a sea view.

Another attraction of this beach was the presence of a DJ. You can experience the pleasure of attending a party with your friends on this beach and have a good memory in your mind by dancing and drinking.

The time to start the party and play music on this beach is after sunset, so if you want to participate in this party, you have to stay on this beach until midnight.

You should know that you cannot participate in this party in a swimsuit and must wear appropriate clothes. Men can participate in this party wearing shorts and T-shirts, and women can wear dresses.

How is the restaurant on this beach?

There is a restaurant called Casino Ada on this beach, where you can book a table using the contact number I mentioned above. You must pay from 3000 to 6000 lira to reserve a two-person table.

By reserving a table, you can use the unlimited menu of this restaurant, which includes cheese, fries, yogurt, eggplant salad, sweets, kebabs, spinach meatballs, fruit, and soda.

Of course, you can also buy food from the restaurant without a table reservation. From there, I bought a pizza for 300 lira and a soft drink for 80 lira. The food I ate at this restaurant was excellent and cooked with the freshest ingredients. You can also have a variety of cocktails there; for more information about this, you can visit the Instagram page @Yukabeachbar.

What facilities does this beach have?

On the beach are umbrellas and clean sunbeds where you can sunbathe and enjoy watching the boats. In addition to sun loungers, you can use the private cabanas on this beach and relax with your friends or family.

There are changing rooms, showers, and toilets on this beach that you can use. When I visited this beach, the toilets were dirty, but I hope they are clean when you visit.

Points to follow while swimming at this beach

As I mentioned above, this beach has no soft sand, and the sea floor is entirely of stones, making swimming difficult. Also, algae and jellyfish are sometimes in the seawater, which may hurt you. If you apply sunscreen all over your body before entering the water or swim in the sea with long sleeves, jellyfish cannot harm you.

If you are afraid of being stung by jellyfish, I suggest you swim in the pool next to this beach instead of swimming in the sea. The negative point of this pool is that it does not have a filter, and the water is salty.

The advantages and disadvantages of this beach are equal, and it cannot be said with certainty that it is good or bad.

In my opinion, the toilets are dirty; the pool water is salty, the presence of algae and jellyfish in the sea, the inappropriate behavior of the employees, the expensive Food and water, the delay in the delivery of Food, the presence of many boats near the beach and not being allowed to bring in water and Food to the beach are the negative points of this beach.

Beautiful views, green forest, yoga class, party, DJ, easy access, variety of drinks, and ample space are among the advantages of this beach.

Finally

The most important thing you should know is that single men are not allowed to enter this beach, and you have to go to this beach with a woman like me. Otherwise, you will be prevented from entering this beach.

In the end, I suggest you read the following articles to learn about other beaches in Istanbul:
