Sedef Adasi Beach Istanbul Is Not Worth Visiting In 2024

Sedef Adası Island is one of the minor Prince islands of Istanbul, where Sedef Adası Plajı is located and attracts many people daily.
Since Sedef adası beach is one of Istanbul’s private beaches, few people visit it, and the beach is mostly deserted.

There is no direct access to this island from Istanbul, and to get to this beach, I first went to Eminonu and boarded one of the ferries and reached Büyükada in 80 minutes, where I boarded Elio’s private boats and went to Sedef adası.
My experience visiting this beach

At the very beginning, I must mention that there is no soft and golden sand on this beach, but a concrete slab is located there. There are about 50 umbrellas and sunbeds on the beach where you can lie down and enjoy the clean air of the island while watching the view of the Marmara Sea.
A part of the sea is secured for visitors to swim, and it is very clean, which made me enjoy swimming there, unlike other beaches in Istanbul. In my opinion, the cleanest beach in Istanbul is Sedef adası Beach and the reason is that few people go to this beach to swim.
What water activities are there on this beach?

There is a water slide on this beach that you can use to increase your adrenaline, but I must mention that this water slide is not very big, and it has a relatively small size.
Beach restaurant
There is a restaurant called ElioSedef on this beach that offers quality food, but you should know that the price of food in this restaurant is high because most rich people go to this restaurant for weddings.

Final word
This beach is not worth visiting because it is a small beach with few facilities, and access to it is tricky. I suggest you visit Nakibey Beach Istanbul, located in Büyükada, instead of visiting this beach because it is easy to access and has more suitable facilities.
