Table of Contents

Madinat Jumeirah means beautiful city in Arabic. This place is one of the most attractive coastal areas and a luxury resort in Dubai, which is a modernized example of traditional Arabic villages. You can visit this market from 10 am to 11 pm.
Unlike the traditional Dubai market, this market has newer and more advanced facilities such as air conditioning.
When I entered this market, I enjoyed its lighting and quickly started taking photos to share them with you.
Unlike Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates, which have large stores, in Souk Madinat Jumeirah, there are small shops that are placed together in narrow corridors, giving visitors the feeling of visiting a traditional market.
Since I am more interested in history and culture, visiting this market is more exciting for me than the big malls in Dubai. If you are traveling to this city from a European country, I suggest you visit this traditional market and buy souvenirs for your friends.
I should mention that next to this market there is also a water channel where you can go boating and see the view of Burj Al Arab.

What to do in Souk Madinat Jumeirah?
When you enter this market, do not immediately buy everything you like because the price of some goods is cheaper in some shops, so it is better to visit all the shops first and compare the prices with each other and buy from the cheapest shop.
I suggest you buy only souvenirs and handicrafts in this market and avoid buying clothes because you can find more cheap clothes in other places in Dubai.
It is better to read the article “Wholesale Clothing In Dubai UAE” to find cheap clothes in Dubai.
Also, the price of dates, chocolate, and spices in this market is expensive, and it is better to avoid buying them.
After walking around and shopping in this market, it is better to go to the restaurants in this market and try the traditional dishes of Dubai.
Madinat Jumeirah Bazaar is famous for having several restaurants that offer hookah. Some of the famous restaurants in the market include:

After eating a delicious meal, go to the water canal, board one of the wooden boats, relax in peace, and enjoy the view of Burj Al Arab.
If you plan to explore these canals, you should use Abra (Arabic narrowboat) tours. Abra starts its movement every 20 minutes, and each tour lasts 20 minutes.
Abra tour working hours: during winter, from Sunday to Saturday, from 10:00 to 23:00; During the summer, from Sunday to Saturday, from 11 to 23.
Abra tour fee: about 150 dirhams for adults.
