As I strolled through the streets of Antalya, numerous shopping centers caught my attention.
My mind was filled with questions: Which shopping center is more expensive or more affordable? Which one is larger or more luxurious? Which offers better discounts? What facilities does each shopping center have, and how do they differ from one another?
These very questions sparked the idea to visit most of Antalya’s shopping centers during my trip to this city and prepare a comprehensive article to introduce you to the best shopping destinations here.

Introduction to TerraCity Shopping Center, Antalya

TerraCity Shopping Center is a large four-story building with 150 stores spread across a vast area of 48,000 square meters, hosting a variety of renowned global and Turkish brands. Located in the Lara district, it is recognized as one of the most famous and popular shopping centers in Antalya.

Features and Attractions

In addition to offering reputable brands, TerraCity boasts 30 restaurants, a play area, and a food court with a capacity of over 1,000 people. The numerous seasonal and periodic sales make a wide range of affordable goods accessible. In my opinion, the combination of these features makes TerraCity one of the primary shopping destinations in the area.

Visiting Experience at TerraCity

One aspect that caught my attention during my visit to TerraCity was the variety of stores across different floors. On the ground floor, first floor, and second floor, numerous shoe stores were noticeable. The first floor was predominantly dedicated to men’s and women’s clothing stores, though similar stores were scattered across other levels as well. The basement floors primarily featured sportswear shops, offering a considerable diversity of products.

Shopping at TerraCity: A Blend of Quality and Affordability

Despite the presence of renowned international brands in this shopping center, it is still possible to find economical and budget-friendly items in its local stores. TerraCity is a place where you can purchase high-quality, premium items from famous brands, as well as enjoy cost-effective shopping by exploring other stores.

Weaknesses of this shoping center

One major drawback of this shopping center is the lack of elevators. During my visit, the escalators connecting the floors to the parking area were not operational, causing inconvenience for elderly visitors or those accompanied by children. It seems TerraCity management should address this issue to improve the overall experience.

In my opinion, TerraCity, with its variety of stores and services, is an excellent option for shopping and leisure. However, certain infrastructure issues, like limited access to lower levels, may make the visit challenging for some people. I hope these issues are resolved in the future to offer a more seamless experience for visitors.

MarkAntalya Shopping Center

MarkAntalya Shopping Center, one of the best and most famous shopping centers in the city, was built in 2013 across an area of 52,000 square meters with 8 floors (4 main floors and 3 basement levels). This shopping center offers more than 150 international brands with a wide variety and affordable prices. Known for its modern architecture and beautiful terrace, it is highly popular among both locals and tourists.
Located in the Muratpaşa neighborhood, MarkAntalya is one of the city’s most significant and sought-after shopping destinations.

My Experience Visiting MarkAntalya Shopping Center

Visiting MarkAntalya was an incredibly pleasant experience. The entire complex was impeccably clean, and the cleaning services were excellent. One of the highlights of this shopping center is the wide variety of restaurants, offering menus suitable for every taste.

In terms of pricing, some products were moderately priced, while luxury brand stores catered to more exclusive shoppers. A notable positive aspect of this center was the friendly and respectful attitude of the store management, which made my shopping experience even more enjoyable.

If you’re looking for a clean, luxurious space packed with amenities, I highly recommend visiting MarkAntalya.

Introduction to Migros Shopping Center Antalya

Migros Shopping Center in Antalya opened its doors to visitors on June 6, 2001, as the city’s first shopping center. Spanning an area of 32,000 square meters, it features three expansive floors. Based on my visit, I noticed that the center has three separate entrances: one leading to the main floor and two others connecting to the ground floor.

Migros Shopping Center hosts over 130 stores featuring Turkish and international brands. Additionally, it has more than 23 restaurants and a food court offering a variety of Turkish and international cuisines.

The parking lot accommodates up to 1,300 vehicles and has three distinct entry points. The hypermarket is located on the ground floor, while the cinema, with eight separate screening halls, and fast-food outlets are situated on the first floor. The dining and relaxation areas overlook the Mediterranean Sea to the south, providing stunning views.

While various categories of stores operate across different floors, the top floor is dedicated primarily to dining. Most stores are concentrated on the entrance and ground floors.

Entertainment at Migros Shopping Center

1. Cinemaximum
   Like many shopping centers worldwide, Migros has a very large and modern cinema called Cinemaximum, which is highly popular. This cinema features 8 spacious and diverse halls, screening the latest movies from Turkey and around the globe. One thing to note is that, based on my experience, most movies are shown in Turkish.
2. Actorland Playground and Town Hall
   Located on the -1 floor, Actorland is a playground and amusement park designed primarily for children but can also be enjoyed by adults. If you’re shopping with your child, you can leave them here for a few hours to have fun while you enjoy your shopping.

My Experience at Migros Shopping Center

The atmosphere was comfortable, safe, and relatively clean. Thanks to its older design, navigating the stores didn’t require much effort, at least for me, unlike some of the other shopping centers in Antalya. Its proximity to the beach is one of its key advantages.

However, one of the escalators was out of order, and it seemed unlikely to be repaired anytime soon. Additionally, the taxi drivers operating near this shopping center often appeared rude and impatient, although this issue is unrelated to the center itself.

Deepo Outlet Center Antalya

In my opinion, Deepo Outlet Center is a large and unique complex featuring an exciting entertainment center that can keep visitors engaged for hours. This shopping center, built in 2004 near Antalya’s international airport, has been recognized as one of the city’s top recreational destinations since 2008.

The beautiful green spaces and natural surroundings of Deepo caught my attention, prompting me to include it in this article. Based on statistics from the center’s security team, more than five million visitors come to Deepo annually, averaging around 13,000 visitors per day. Moreover, according to surveys conducted among visitors, 90% expressed satisfaction with the conditions of the center and the pricing set by the shopkeepers. From my perspective, this is a significant positive point for Deepo Outlet Center.

Facilities at Deepo Outlet Center

Deepo is one of Antalya’s best shopping centers, offering over 40 types of games and entertainment, making it a fun destination for people of all ages and interests. Notable attractions include:

4. Exciting drop towers
5. Numerous family-friendly games

Additionally, the center features amenities such as restaurants, cafes, shops, and relaxation areas.

Deepo is home to numerous outlet stores and well-known brands, alongside 15 cafes and restaurants. If you enjoy watching movies, the center boasts 5 cinema halls.

For visitors with children, Deepo offers a 500-square-meter play area, filled with child-friendly games and activities, providing a convenient solution for parents who want to shop in peace.

My Experience at Deepo Outlet Center

In my view, Deepo is an exceptional choice for families shopping with children, thanks to its safe playground and recreational facilities. Before my visit, I had heard that Deepo offered products at lower prices compared to other shopping centers in Antalya. However, based on my shopping experience, I realized that while Deepo is rumored to be affordable, the recent inflation in Turkey has made its prices comparable to other shopping centers, with no significant advantage.

Summary

Perhaps visiting four shopping centers in Antalya is not enough to provide a comprehensive and definitive opinion about the city’s shopping options; I haven’t even visited half of the shopping centers here. However, based on what I observed, all four centers lacked nothing in terms of store variety, products, as well as restaurants and food courts.
MarkAntalya Shopping Center focused the most on branded and luxury items, with high prices but excellent facilities. The other shopping centers offered products at regular and higher prices. The lack of an elevator in TerraCity and a broken escalator in Migros were among their drawbacks. Deepo managed to provide a somewhat better discount system and, with its children’s park, is the best choice for family outings with kids.
