Shopping at Istanbul Airport

Shopping at Istanbul Airport is one of the best options for you. Since one of the largest duty-free centers is located in this airport, you can buy all kinds of clothes, colognes, and cosmetics at the best prices. So, if you are planning to fly to Istanbul, visit the shops at this airport.
Brands like LC Waikiki and MAVI are among the cheapest clothing brands in Turkey, selling a variety of men’s and women’s clothes at around 500 lira.

Ebuzziya Caddesi in Bakirkoy
If you’re looking for the cheapest street in Istanbul that only Istanbul natives know about, head to Ebuzziya Caddesi in Bakirkoy. Where time seems to have stopped and the prices of clothes have not increased!
For example, the price of a jacket here is 300 liras and the price of a pullover is 100 liras.
You should know that most of these clothes are made in Turkey, and none of them are famous brands, but they are of good quality.
To get there, take the M2 metro from Taksim and get off at the YeniKapi station. Then, take the Marmaray B2 line and get off at the Bakirkoy station. After a five-minute walk, you will reach this street.

Beyoglu business center

Beyoglu area is considered one of the most popular places in the city for shopping, which tourists and locals visit there. Among its passages, you can see a variety of fashion and clothing stores that sell seasonal items at reasonable and cheap prices. generally, this commercial center is full of various stores. It is considered a great place for shopping. Because it is located on Istiklal Street and near Taksim Square, it will be easily accessible.
You should know that not all shops there are cheap, that’s why I decided to explore this street well and find the cheapest arcade to buy clothes and souvenirs.
After a few hours of asking and walking on this street, I finally got to know Beyoglu Merkezi Passage, which was located in front of the Koton shop.

Sinan Pasa Passage

If you are looking for a quiet place, I suggest SinanPasa Passage. SinanPasa Passage is located in Besiktas District and is considered one of the most famous shopping passages in residential areas of Turkey.
It is a great place for those looking for good and cheap shopping. With a normal comparison between some of the goods of this passage with other shopping centers or even other markets, you can see that the prices in this passage are very low and considering that it is far from popular tourist spots, compared to other markets and passages, it has a quiet environment.

Istanbul weekly markets

If you want to buy cheap clothes at the lowest price, you should go to the weekly markets in Istanbul, especially the weekend markets.
The weekly markets of Istanbul are so cheap that the people of Istanbul do most of their shopping in these markets. Also, due to these markets’ chronological age, many tourists visit these areas. Therefore, you should expect a lot of crowds.
If you want to know my personal opinion, I think the best weekly market in this city is the Saturday market and Sunday market because the prices are half and many people go there for shopping.
The important thing I noticed about the weekly markets in Istanbul is that if you go there in the early hours of the market you can buy the best and highest quality goods, but if you go there at the end of the day you will see that the quality goods run out. But don’t worry because as you get closer to the closing hours of the market, the sellers will lower the prices so that they can sell all their goods.
In the list below you can find information about all the weekly markets in the city:
- Sunday Market Istanbul
- Monday Market Istanbul
- Tuesday Market Istanbul
- Wednesday Market Istanbul
- Thursday Market Istanbul
- Friday Market Istanbul
- Saturday Market Istanbul
Laleli Street

Laleli Street is one of Istanbul’s old and busy streets, located in the European part of the Fatih neighborhood. The reason why this street is crowded is the existence of wholesale and cheap shops.
I suggest you go to this street in August because the Laleli shopping festival is held this month and you can buy many clothes at a discount.

The Grand bazaar of Istanbul, where you can also visit the beautiful architecture of this bazaar in addition to making economical purchases, is one of the best shopping centers in Istanbul for people who want to buy authentic Turkish handicrafts and products at reasonable prices.
This indoor market is so big that it is impossible to visit the entire market in one day.
